Jessica Simpson on Elle Magazine Cover in March 2007

Magazine covers are advertisements. They sell the magazine. The March 2007 issue of Elle had this gorgeous photograph of Jessica Simpson.

The famous blonde has been on the cover of countless magazines in the last decade but this was one of her best cover images.

The overall cover page design of photo and text is centered and has a very symmetrical look that very effectively enhances the elegance of the picture.

Simpson looks happy, fun and a little flirty. She has the big hair and big dress that reminds us of the classic Marilyn Monroe pose when she stood over a street vent in a white evening dress. But it's toned down here to be sexy and elegant. She shows a little leg but not much.

Like many of the best magazine covers this photo is good enough to be a poster.
